Why is mineral sunscreen preferred over chemical sunscreen?

Mineral sunscreens (Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide) work in a very different way than chemical sunscreens, and those differences are why we only use mineral sunscreens in TiZO. Mineral sunscreens lay on top of the skin and reflect away damaging UVA-UVB rays; chemical sunscreens absorb into the skin and get into the bloodstream, while absorbing UVA-UVB rays onto the skin. Since mineral sunscreens do not absorb through the skin, they are great for sensitive skin and cause very few allergic reactions. In contrast, chemical sunscreens can be irritating to skin and eyes, and cause most sunscreen allergies.
